Mediair - Kombi

This unit combines the properties of the Units Mediair-Plus and Mediair-D. A switching device allows the adjustment of the Mediair-Kombi either to concentrated ozone flooding for surface disinfection or to continuous operation for air decontamination – as required.

The setting "Surface disinfection" (Mediair-Plus) removes 99.99 % of odours, germs, bacteria, fungal spores, pet and mite allergens as well as other organic substances. In contrast to the setting “Air purification” (Mediair-D) it is not only air which is purified, but the disinfection of the surface in the entire room is achieved. Fungal spores behind toeboards and in wall crevices are destroyed. Germs, viruses and bacteria on furniture, pet blankets etc. are inactivated. Allergens and nicotine layers are neutralised.

Please observe: The adjustment “Surface disinfection” (Mediair Plus) results in the generation of highly concentrated ozone; staying in the same room for a longer time is detrimental to health for men and animals. Entering the room for a short time for the enable or disable of the unit is not detrimental to health.

The adjustment “Continuous operation for air purification" (Mediair-D) provides for continuous air purification. The two-part UV-C lamp decontaminates the air in the unit and converts redundant active oxygen to oxygen. An excess concentration of ozone is excluded. For rooms with a room capacity of up to 70 m³ ~ approx. 27 m² (the conversion to m² is based on the average ceiling height of 2.6 m).

The ozone generator Mediair does not need filters or chemistry and does not exploit microbiology. The manufacturer guarantees maximum operational safety with the consumption of current being low. The Mediair series consists of low-maintenance units **.

** After approx. 11,000 operating hours the efficiency of the UV-C lamps is reduced slowly. The Mediair-Kombi ozone generator is provided with sensors informing about the change of tubes. The change of UV-C tubes is described in detail in the operating instructions and can be performed by oneself without problems. Any expensive maintenance of these units is NOT required.
